“WOW: A Week of Outstanding Writing.” Matthews Community Rec Center. Summer 2025 for 4-6th graders and 6th-8th graders. Create an imaginative short story in one week. Experience the fun of writing fiction as you invent unique characters, drop them into imaginative settings, and confer conflicts that only your character can solve! Create a sports story, a science fiction/fantasy story, and a mystery using hands-on activities.
